I just started weaving baskets though I do lots of other crafts and sewing. I found this to use on a beginner pattern for a triple arrow design. It turned out so well, I want to make them for Christmas presents this year.
This smoked reed comes in nice, long lengths. It soaked up the water and became pliable really well and worked easily without cracking or breaking.
